About Us and What We Do
History
TeaHouse Worldwide started as a small e-commerce based company with a mission of using purpose driven teas to fill every need and niche possible. However, we quicky realized that the online market had become incredibly oversaturated with people who do similar things as we do. Instead of allowing this obstacle to discourage us, we decided to use it to our advantage.
Who Are We Now?
With thousands of dollars being spent on online advertising by other companies who sell products just like ours, we decided to take a step back from the online market and sell directly to retail stores as a distributor, occupying spaces where our consumers are but our competitors aren't. This allows us to keep prices low, as we don't need to spend as much money informing the consumer about the benefits of our tea- they already know the benefits of mullein, eucalyptus, ginger, etc. from ads paid for by other companies, and we don't have to advertise as hard against other companies since we operate in a different space.
Our Mission
Our goal is to cooperate with retail stores and store owners to sell teas specific to their niche. By working together, TeaHouse Worldwide can benefit by providing teas directly to stores, stores can benefit by providing teas to their customers, and the consumer can benefit by enjoying our delicious and health-promoting teas.
Our Flagship Blend: Easy Breathe-y
Here we broke down the blend by ingredient, showing why each part was included and how they work together
- Granulated Honey- Our research has shown that a majority of our consumers are drawn to sweeter flavors, so we added a sweetener directly into the bag! When mixed with a tea, honey has also been known to help coat the throat and reduce soreness
- Mullein- The base herb of our tea, believed to be an expectorant, thinning and loosening mucus from the airways.
- Eucalyptus- Commonly used as a decongestant, helping reduce mucus production- it is also very fragrant, with hints of pine and menthol
- Ginger- Known for its ant-inflammatory properties, it can help reduce throat inflammation and provide relief to soreness- and it adds a hint of zest to the flavor
- Black Tea- Contains compounds called "tannins" that help reduce inflammation and relieve sore throat pain
- Licorice Root- studies have shown licorice to act as an expectorant, similar to mullein-also has a pleasant and unique flavor when paired with our other herbs and sweetened with our granulated honey, giving the tea's flavor profile some nuance
- Peppermint- The menthol in peppermint is both a decongestant and expectorant, the cool sensation it brings can also soothe sore throats- it also adds a familiar sweet and minty flavor to the blend
- Fennel- has expectorant properties and its phytonutrients have been shown to clear sinuses and even reduce asthma
